Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albarez says his government's position on the Iran war has not changed.
Earlier, White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt, while briefing reporters in Washington, claimed that Spain had agreed to cooperate with the US military.
It should be noted that Spain had refused to allow the US to use its military base for the ongoing attacks against Iran, after which the previous President Trump threatened to stop all trade with Spain.
Albarez told a Spanish radio channel: "The position of the Spanish government on the war in the Middle East, the bombing of Iran and the use of our bases has not changed."
He added that our position of 'opposition to war' is clear and unequivocal.
